Cadono le mamme

by Roberto Rabitti, Cinzia Ghioldi

During a meteor shower, a little girl sets out on a journey in which she faces her fears. The thought of her mother, victim of a banal bike incident will keep her company on the way home. "If in some precise moments, you feel clusters of thoughts flowing through the wrinkles of the soul or of a smile... well, let it be. It is us, knocking. Prepare your shoes and your gloves, outside it is bleeding. Sneak out and call all the mothers. They stand above, just under the moon. Can you hear that ring, that noise? It's you, I tell you, it's you. In that groove, that lapse, that beat... Two minutes to six. Try to close first your eyes, than your hands... following a different rhythm than your natural one".
