The film, conceived as an academic research, aims at investigating the relationship between several religions and the ways in which the experience of faith influences daily life on the territory of Bergamo. The starting point of the research was the "shadowing" experience together with Benoit, a young student of theology, who decided to spend a period of meditation in Europe before taking vows. Benoit studies economy, he works at the airport, he is a musician and a poet. His perception of the reality around Bergamo has to face the experiences of the representatives of "alternative" religious groups: young mormons from Utah on a religious mission, Pentecostals, Buddhists, Waldensials, an Italian man who converted to Islam and Hare Krishna. The aim of the film is not to offer a comprehensive examination, but fragments and approximations lead to the desire and need to listen.
