Tiburzi

In the spring of 1896, five years after the mysterious exile, Tiburzi, an highwayman, suddenly reappears in the Maremma area, in Tuscany, Italy, the place where he had been ruling for twenty-five years. But something has changed. Now the house of Savoy reign on those territories, which were once considered wild and dangerous. A manhunt is organized by the local police and the land owners. Old, crippled and unable to accept the political and social changes which took place during his absence, Tiburzi will be captured and killed in the night between the 23rd and the 24th October, 1896.
