Vreme cuda

by Goran Paskaljevic

Soon after the end of the Second World War, in the small orthodox village of Vitanija, the new communist authorities starts the so called "God's uprooting" process. They enter the church, hanging the flag of the Communist Party and overpaint frescoes, but frescos each time miraculously return, so the people start thinking that the Messiah is in the village and he is doing miracles. This is the start of a conflict between the new and the old order, whose consequences will have a decisive influence on the inhabitants' destiny.
