The movie tells the story of Karrer, a depressed man who carries a secluded life, left out from everything and everybody. He spends his days walking adrift and his night s at a local bar, the Titanik, where he falls in love for a married torch singer. One day he is offered smuggling work by the bartender at the bar, but he offers the job to the husband of the singer to get him out of the way and get closer to her. Conflicts, extortions and desperate approaches will arise amongst these four characters.
