In occasion of the third centenary of the city of Rochefort, a fair is coming to the town square. The twin sisters Delphine and Solange Garnier won't miss the chance to find the man of their dreams. The twins' mother, Yvonne, owns a café in the center of town, and pines for a fiancé she left impulsively ten years before in order to focus on her work in the café. A well made French musical film set in a pastel colors harbour town.
